Tip of the Week: Take the Once-A-Week Challenge

Ninety-four percent of respondents to Altman Weil’s 2017 Law Firms in Transition survey believe improved practice efficiency will be a permanent trend. But only about 49% say they’re doing anything about it.

Change is hard. You need to start small. Here’s the challenge:

Once a week, take a hard look around your office or workspace. Think about your work. What takes too long or seems too hard? What frustrates you?

Pick one small thing that really bugs you and write it down. Make sure it’s something within your power, something where the effort of change is outweighed by the benefit. Share your idea with a colleague. Commit to making the change within a week.

Now just do it.

Next week, do it again.
